About Us

Zest Swim is a small Melbourne-based swimwear brand. We aim to create fun & timeless swimwear, with minimal impact on the environment. We'd love for you to join us on our journey of contributing to a more sustainable world.

Ethics & Sustainability 

One Tree Planted: For every order placed with us, we fund the planting of one tree in Australia through One Tree Planted. This contributes to creating habitat corridors for koalas and restoring areas affected by bushfires.

What we do: Zest bikinis use fabric that is made from recycled materials, such as plastic bottles, fishing nets and other pre & post-consumer waste. Giving these materials a new life helps to reduce the impacts of waste on marine life, while also creating high quality swimwear. Zest bikinis are ethically manufactured in Indonesia, with the employees paid well over minimum wage, and are provided free medical insurance and a daily free freshly cooked meal. We aim to transfer to local manufacturing in the near future, once our brand and resources are better established.

What you can do: While businesses can boast sustainability, true sustainability lies equally in the hands of the consumer. Here are some sustainable practices that you can adopt:

• Avoid highly trendy pieces that you are likely to get rid of quickly.
• Invest in fewer, higher quality pieces that will last.
• Never throw out swimwear; sell unwanted pieces on second hand marketplaces such as Depop, or donate them to charity.
